Making an Appointment
Routine medical consultations are by appointment only. They are generally at 10 minute intervals. If you have 2 or more items to discuss or you feel you have a complex issue please ask the receptionist for an extended appointment time. You may have to wait longer for an extended appointment.
You may consult with any of the Doctors or Nurses available. To make an appointment either telephone the surgery on 01738 621726 or call into reception. You will be offered the earliest appointment available with the Doctor or Nurse of your choice.
Please report to reception on arrival.
If you cannot keep an appointment for any reason, please let the surgery know so that we may offer it to another patient.
Please make separate appointments for each person who needs a consultation.
Appointments with Doctors
We have a range of appointments from same-day to bookable up to four weeks in advance.
If you feel that your problem is urgent then let the receptionist know and we will arrange for you to be seen by the partner on call for the day.
Each of our doctors do an early morning surgery from 7:00am to 8:00am once per week. Please enquire at reception if you would prefer an appointment at these times.

Appointments with Nurses
We have three Practice Nurses and one Phlebotomist/Healthcare Assistant. Appointments are booked in the usual way as above. Nurses are available from 8:30am - 6:00pm.
Telephone Appointments
Everyday each Doctor has a number of slots between 9.30am – 10.30am to deal with enquiries or problems which could be discussed over the telephone. If you think this would be more convenient or appropriate for you then ask at reception when you book your appointment.
Out of Hours Cover
NHS 24 provide out of hours cover between 6.00pm and 8.00am, Monday to Friday, during Saturday and Sunday and at any other time the practice may be closed. To obtain medical advice you must call NHS 24; this can be done in several ways:
